EchoHouse Ghana Limited Takes The Night At The 15TH AAG Gong Gong Awards

EchoHouse Ghana Limited, a 360-marketing communications agency in Ghana, West Africa, swept two Platinum awards out of four, and also won four Gold and three Silver awards at the recently held 15th AAG Gong-Gong Awards.

The youth-led agency, which is also hosting its maiden Around The World Food and Drinks Festival this Christmas weekend on December 24th, 25th, and 26th at the Polo Court near the Kotoka International Airport, has been at the forefront of employing digital communication efforts in marketing communications and brand activations in the country.

At the awards night, the agency was celebrated for its amazing client work over the past year. This year’s awards ceremony was the first time the agency has submitted entries to be considered for the AAG Gong Gong Awards.

At the end of the event, which was held to celebrate agencies and brands in the country that have been exceptional in creating value for clients amidst the impact of Covid 19, EchoHouse had won nine awards, two of which were in the coveted platinum category.

The awards ceremony, which is the premier advertising award scheme of its kind in Ghana, is organized by the Advertising Association of Ghana (AAG), the industry body and professional institute for Ghana’s thriving and highly potent advertising and marketing communications sector.

The agency won an award for its experiential launch event for Malta Guinness’ Recognize Limited Edition, another for its ‘The Horror Stare’ poster under the Wear Fresh Breath Too campaign for Closeup, a third for its campaign for Access Bank called ‘Social Distancing Is Our Highest Currency now’, as well as MasterCard’s campaign called ‘It’s Up To Us’ – all in the Gold Winners category.

For the Platinum Winners category, EchoHouse won two of the four awards available which included an award for Access Bank’s ‘Social Distancing Is Our Highest Currency Now’, and MasterCard’s ‘It’s Up To Us’ campaigns, making the agency the biggest winner on the night to cap an impressive debut.

The CEO of EchoHouse Ghana Limited, Beryl Agyekum Ayaaba was pleased that EchoHouse was celebrated by its peers in the advertising industry.

“We have centered client needs in all our strategies and working on these particular campaigns was every bit challenging and rewarding. Our amazing team of creative and passionate individuals worked together to put out this incredible body of work that has been celebrated,” she said in a statement.

She noted that the awards were a welcome recognition of the work EchoHouse has done over the past year which had been very unpredictable owing to the global pandemic that set off unprecedented challenges.
