The COVID-19 pandemic is still here with us and we have to adhere to all safety protocols to get a good chance of fighting the pandemic.
Part of the many safety protocols include washing of hands regularly, social distancing in places with lot’s of people, wearing of face masks and taking the approved COVID-19 vaccines.
The country has joined many around the world to run an a nationwide vaccination programme aimed at vaccinating majority of the population in order to achieve herd immunity against the virus.
Ghana has had sucessive vaccination drives and this week another one is ongoing in various health centres in Greater Accra and Ashanti regions.
The healthcare professionals are administering the AstraZeneca vaccine.
