Buju Releases 7-Track EP “Sorry I’m Late”

After having a good streak of features this year, Nigerian fast rising artist Buju has released his much-awaited 7-trach EP “Sorry I’m Late”

Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Daniel Benson (Buju) is an Afro-Fusion Singer and Songwriter. The name ‘Buju’ is a coined acronym that stands for ‘Beauty Underneath Just Understood’.

‘Sorry I’m Late’ is aptly titled after Buju’s journey over the past two years of his career. In 2019, he caught a buzz and scored major collaborations with Zlatan and Burna Boy a year later. He then signed to Burna Boy and Bose Ogulu’s On A Spaceship for about a year before moving.

Buju showcases his versatility in “Sorry I’m Late” from mixing Afrobeats and Amapiano to featuring The Cavemen on a Highlife-inspired song.

This is his follow-up to his debut, 24Hrs In Lagos City.
