This year’s BET Awards saw the biggest acts in Black entertainment come to celebrate one thing they all have in common, “Music”!!!
The night saw Tyler, the Creator, Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, and Lil Baby winning big with Nelly winning the “I am Hip-Hop Award.
The BET Hip Hop Awards is an annual awards show, airing on BET, showcasing hip hop performers, producers and music video directors. The awards ceremony began in 2006 and it was held on November 12, 2006 at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia. It was first aired on November 15 and was hosted by comedian Katt Williams.
This year’s show featured performances from I Am Hip Hop awardee Nelly, Young Thug, Gunna, and Baby Keem, among others.
