Ghanaian Afrosoul artist Asi Renie has released her final installation for her “Chapter V Live”.
“Me lo wo” is off the Asi Renie Chapter V project she released in 2020. “Me lo wo” is about being open and vulnerable for a lover which clearly fits into the theme of the project that speaks about love and its complexities.
Asi Renie, at the start of August, announced her Chapter V live, a rendition of her 2020 Ep Chapter V, this was to take fans through a journey of neo-soul rhythms.
According to Asi Renie, “Chapter V is about the Love we give to others and the love we want others to give to us.”
Asi Renie in September organized a live musical experience which was fused with a recyclable art installation and fundraiser pop-up in collaboration with Ahaban.
Earlier in May, Asi Renie organized a beach clean-up to raise awareness of the harm we’ve brought to our environment. The trash collected was used to remake the cover art of ‘’Chapter V’’ – a symbol to express the love she has for the environment.
The initial project received over 300,000+ streams across all media streaming platforms.
“This project was birthed out of love, the love I give to myself and the love I devote to other things. I’ve always believed that everything comes down to love. We all desire it. And it fuels every decision we make. Love transcends through time yet still remains constant in its ways. Never changing,” she said in a press statement.
