The Governors Ball Music Festival (commonly known as Governors Ball or Gov Ball) is a multi-day music festival held on Randalls Island in New York City. Launched in 2011, the festival features an array of genres and styles of music, including rock, electronic, hip-hop, indie, Americana, pop, folk, and more. It is produced by Founders Entertainment, a festival promotion company based in New York City, which also produces The Meadows Music & Arts Festival. Aside from the wide variety of music, the festival features a multitude of popular New York restaurants and food trucks, as well as activities and games.
Amaarae gave “Sad Girlz Luv Money” new life with her new remix with Kali Uchis, according to Pitchfork.
“’SAD GIRLZ LUV MONEY’ was already a magical song with myself and Molly but Kali takes it to a new dimension,” Amaarae said in a press release. “I’m excited to have her on the remix. I’ve loved her music since I was 19 in college so to be able to work on this with her was amazing and she kills her verse! I think the Sad Girlz Worldwide are going to LOVE this!”
