Once again, Twitter is about to be filled with high school fights and trolling from people who left high school years ago.

All those trolling will be centred around the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) as it has been every year since social media became a thing among young Ghanaians.

In recent years, the NSMQ has become an annual social media engagement and event a lot of people look out for.

The year is 2021 and this year’s NSMQ is in the offing. The organizer of the quiz, PrimeTime, has been scouting the country conducting district and regional science and maths competitions for schools to qualify for the nationals in Accra.

Yesterday, four very important dates were announced for the NSMQ2021 which included dates from the start of the national competition to the end of the competition.

On October 19, which is just a little less than a month away, the 2021 National Science and Maths Quiz will be launched.

Then from October 26 to November 5, the preliminary stages for the non-seeded schools will continue. Schools will then qualify for the one-eighth stage of the competition.

That will then start and lead into the semifinals from November 12 to November 23.

All that will lead to the ultimate date of November 26 when we will crown the NSMQ 2021 champions.

Presec is currently the school with the most NSMQ wins with 6 NSMQ trophies with Prempeh College in second place with 4 trophies.
