Martin Waana-ang: KNUST Faculty of Law Students Union Gets New President

The final year students are leaving campus and by so doing making this a lot of student leadership positions vacant.

While various students’ representative councils in various campuses have elected new executives, other student unions are still electing and swearing in their new leaders.

Last Thursday, the Law Students Union of the Faculty of Law at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) inaugurated its new President, Martin Waana-ang.

Martin has promised to use his newly found authority to help the members of his union.

Martin is pursuing an LLB (Bachelor of Laws) at KNUST and he aspires to be a great legal luminary in the Legal field and also to one day become a justice of the Supreme Court of Ghana.

He has a passion for writing legal articles especially concerning vexed issues of Ghana’s democracy. He wishes to contribute tremendously to the advancement of Ghana’s Democracy through these writings.

He has a special interest in constitutional law and corporate law.
