Makeup is a form of expressing art. In as much as people do any and everything, remember that the way your makeup will come out depends entirely on your style and what you’re going for. Here is the step by step tutorial that will help you in getting the most out of your face makeup.

1. Apply a Primer

It helps in improving the coverage and works great in smoothing the texture. Along with it, applying primer also helps in minimizing pores and lets your makeup lasts for hours without any mess.

2. Define your eyebrows (Optional)

If you want to enhance the way your eyebrows look, you should draw them and use a concealer around them. There are a lot of makeup tutorials on drawing eyebrows on Youtube you should take advantage of.

3. Apply foundation

Foundation evens out your complexion, smooths over imperfections, and comes in three forms: liquid, cream, or powder. Since you’re going to the office, you don’t need too much on your face. If you’re now going to get the foundation, get one that has lighter coverage. When blending it unto your face either using a wet beauty blender or foundation brush, remember to also apply it on your neck so it’s even.

4. Concealer (Optional)

We are saying it’s optional because if you’re going to work in an office space, you may not need full coverage makeup. Concealer is meant to add an extra layer of coverage over dark spots, pimples, scars, or wherever you want more coverage. Depending on the look you want to achieve, you can opt for a concealer with either a matte or dewy finish.

5. Blush (Optional)

Blush is used to add a flushed colour to your cheeks and comes in liquid, powder, and cream formulas. For a quick and easy application, the powder should be your go-to.

6. Setting/Finishing powder

If you need your makeup to last all day, you should set it. While setting powder sets your makeup and locks it in place, finishing powder smooths fine lines and blurs pores, creating an airbrushed finish.

7. Mascara

If you want to give your eyes an open and awake look, the best idea is to apply mascara on the eyelashes. Perfectly coated lashes create some kind of frame that makes the eyes look deeper and more beautiful. A high-quality mascara darkens, lengthens, thickens and curls our eyelashes.
