Ghana Black Stars team has a new heartthrob or he is well on his way to being one. The team is currently at camp in Cape Coast getting ready to play Ethiopia tomorrow for the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

The coach, CK Akonnor has called some of the famous faces, Dede Ayew, Jordan Aye, Jonathan Mensah, Wakaso and others to join the squad to play the qualifying match tomorrow.

He has also called some relatively new faces and one of them is already getting people asking ‘who is he’?

When photos of the boys at the camp were posted on social media, the ladies started paying particular attention to one person in the number 5 jersey.

The men were also curious as well.

Unable to determine who he is, others brought out the Drake jokes.

Well, just because we don’t want you to start digging for who the number 5 is, we did it for you.

He is Daniel-Kofi Kyereh. A Ghanaian footballer who lives in Germany. Though the 25-year-old was born in Accra, he has lived in Germany for most of his life and he even holds German citizenship.

He plays the attacking midfield position and his current team is  FC St. Pauli in Hamburg, Germany.

He is valued at a current market value of €1.50m

This is the first time he has been called to join the national team.
