It’s that time of the year again, and #NSSPosting is the number one trend in Ghana. And as usual, there are some people who aren’t going to be too happy about where they’ve been posted. If that’s you, don’t panic, you can still get reposted. Here’s what you need to know.
Is There A Company That Wants You?

The easiest way to get reposted is if there’s a company that’s willing to hire. If there is, get a letter of assurance from the company (with your NSS number) and take it to the secretariat office. And that’s it.
You Need A Release If You’ve Already Submitted To A Company

After you’ve been posted to place, you have to submit a letter of endorsement to that company for approval. You then send the approved letter back to NSS. If you’ve already done this, you can still be reposted. Although, it’s you’re going to need some extra steps.
Because NSS already has you committed to one company, you need a release from that company before you can be reposted. You need to take the release letter, in addition to a letter from the company that wants you for NSS, to the secretariat. These letters should have your name and NSS number.
You Can Always Go To The Secretariat For Reposting

Sometimes, you’ll be posted to a company, but then run into trouble when it comes to getting your endorsement letter approved. Getting reposted is free, so all you would need to do is go to the secretariat office and ask for a reposting.
