At this point, there is no arguing that Netflix has some really incredible titles on its roster. However, the problem we all have is that sometimes you spend so much time looking for a new show to watch that your food gets cold or you look at the time and realize you just spent 30 minutes simply trying to decide on what to watch. That’s why recommendations are always great. If you’re into sci-fi, these are the absolute best shows that you need to be on.

Rick And Morty

Rick and Morty is a show that got a lot of people hooked based on the shock factor/hilariousness of the things that happen on the show. As far as adult animations go, this is at the top of a lot of people’s lists, and for good reason. If you’re into sci-fi we’re assuming you’ve seen Rick and Morty. It’s just still the natural top spot on our list.

Altered Carbon

If you’re into action sci-fi then Altered Carbon is going to keep you entertained for a while. The show is set in a futuristic time where humanity has overcome mortality by keeping people’s consciousnesses on devices called stacks. When one of the oldest people in the world is murdered the show throws into the deep end of a mind-blowing action-adventure that will keep you guessing.

Stranger Things

There’s a reason that Stranger Things takes over the internet every time that a new season is released. Stranger Things is set in the ’90s and its story follows four children who get entangled with aliens from a different dimension and government experiments when one of them is kidnapped. It’s easy to get invested in the show and its characters but that also means your heart is not going to be able to take when the characters you love get themselves into trouble, which they will.

Black Mirror

Black Mirror is an anthology series which means that its episodes don’t follow each other. Instead, each near-hour-long episode is a self-contained story of its own. What the episodes do have in common is that they all examine scenarios where technology has drastically advanced and changed human life in various sometimes small/sometimes big exciting ways.

LOVE DEATH + ROBOTS is another anthology series with heavy sci-fi elements. It’s is an animated anthology with each episode animated in a different style. Episodes range from the fun, raunchy, romantic, absolutely hilarious to murder-y, tragic, and flat-out scary. You never know what kind of story to expect, but one thing that’s constant is that you’re not going to be able to stop until you watch an episode to the end. The episodes are quite short though and you might finish binging them before you realize it.
