Faith Senam: Combining Her Passion For Fashion And PR To Support The Next Batch Of Young Entrepreneurs

Faith Senam Ocloo is a Fashion Public Relations (PR) specialist, fashion writer and founder of e’april Public Relations.

She is passionate about supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses to grow through PR campaigns, strategic partnerships and digital PR. She loves to be part of the growth process by focusing on managing the brand’s communication and development strategies aimed at increasing brand awareness.

This passion birthed her PR agency e’april PR in 2012 which specializes in PR for fashion, beauty, lifestyle brands. Since starting out, She has spearheaded successful PR campaigns for fashion businesses and consulted on strategy, media relations and brand communications all geared towards garnering the right audiences for these brands.

Faith Senam managed PR for brands like Adubea Jensen, Selinabeb, Ghana Menswear Week (formerly Accra Men’s Fashion Week), Horseman Shoes, Nadrey Laurent, Evangel Magazine amongst several other brands she has consulted for on project basis; giving them the utmost exposure they deserve for all the great work they put in.

Prior to fully running her PR firm, she worked with Global Media Alliance as an Account Manager for Unilever where she worked on the re-launch of the Vaseline beauty product on to the Ghanaian market. She has also managed the accounts of other companies including Diamond Cement, Huawei, FHi360 Learning Project and World Oral Health Day.

When she’s not busy connecting brands to bloggers, media, influencers and all who matter, Faith Senam writes as a fashion columnist with the Business and Financial Times Newspaper and blogs about products and services she experiences and events she attends. She has, so far, written over 200 published articles.

Faith Senam also founded Women in Public Relations Ghana, a not-for-profit organization with the aim of advocating for women and professionalism in Public Relations practice while providing opportunities for career advancement, mentorship, networking and leadership for young women studying and practising PR.

She is an honorary member of the Global Women in PR. She was also named among 10 Women Entrepreneurs to watch in 2020 and listed among 10 Women Rising Personal Brands by Tanoe Woman Rising.

Faith Senam, however, is on a journey to make an impact in the next generation of change-makers like you building businesses they are proud of.
