This Thursday, students of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) will be heading to the polls to elect their next batch of leaders.
With the current Samuel Sesah led administration coming to the end of its tenure, the student body is getting ready to choose its replacement.
The presidential race is a hotly contested one with 5 candidates who are all eager to lead the student body in the 2021/2022 academic year.
Michael Abuah, DSK Acquah Jr, Frank Owusu, Prince Adjei Ackah, and Kevin Abban are facing off in the presidential race.
The General Secretary race is not dull either. Catherine Osei, Benedicta Tiwaa Amankwaah, Emmanuella Bessa Simons and Comfort Awuah are pulling off all their campaign tactics to win this portfolio.
Meanwhile, Derek Andy Dadzie and Solomon Coffie are battling it out for the role of Financial Secretary while second-year Scholastica Yeboah is giving third-year Delali Forgive Setugah a run for her money for the position of Women’s Commissioner.
The KNUST SRC election comes off this Thursday, August 5.
