With the Tokyo 2020 Olympics ongoing, we have not witnessed a lot of Ghanaian participation in the games as compared to that of other countries.
With a very small number of 14 athletes competing in a handful of sporting disciplines, Ghanaians who are following the Olympics have had to find their sporting heroes in other countries.
However, every now and then when a Ghanaian athlete shows up, massive positive energy is sent to the athlete in Tokyo to do well.
While some have not been able to be in a medal position, others are still fighting for a medal or are yet to start their campaign altogether.
With Ghana already securing a bronze medal from the boxer Samuel Takyi, Joseph Paul Amoah is also starting a 200M medal buzz.
Haven qualified in third place to the semi-finals which will take place later today, Joseph is giving Ghanaians something to hope for.
All love to the Ghanaian heroes in Tokyo.
