Your profile on LinkedIn is your identity on the app. Needless to say, it’s as important as your CV. If you’re serious about using LinkedIn to find a job then you need to have a profile that stands out.

Here’s our guide to creating an A+ LinkedIn profile.

Now that your profile is up and ready for visitors, you need to get some visitors. First, search for companies that you’re interested in working at. Once you’ve found those companies, you can connect with the employees at those companies. You need to genuinely get to know these people before you ask about a job.

LinkedIn has a search feature that you can use to find job openings. Type in keywords like “hiring” in the search and you’ll see accounts or companies that have open positions. Save the jobs that are in line with your skillset.
