Keeping and washing crochet outfits is one of the issues people who own crochet outfits face.
It’s advisable to hand wash your outfits rather than using a washing machine. Choose a mild detergent and use cold water when washing. If you are washing light and dark outfits in the same water, make sure that you wash the light ones first before washing the dark ones. This prevents color transferring from the dark outfits onto the light outfits.
To wash the outfits, this is what you need to do.
Grab two portions of the outfit and rub it within your palms. This helps remove dirts from the outfit. If there are areas of the outfit that needs to be handled delicately, simply use only your hands and fingers to scrub those parts.
Wrap your outfit in a towel after washing and squeeze it repeatedly. Keep re-wrapping it and squeezing out water until it is relatively dry.
Crochet outfits should be dried flat because hanging crochet outfits when they are wet can stretch them.
After it is dried, fold them nicely and put it in your wardrobe.
Take note of yarn label instructions !
