The University of Ghana has announced that it will hold a virtual congregation ceremony for its graduating students from the School of Law and the School of Medicine and Dentistry.
The university indicated on its website that the ceremony will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at 10:00 am.
Since the outbreak of COVID-19, the university has held most of its flagship events online, as a measure to prevent the spread of the virus on campus.
Last year, the congregation ceremonies for the various colleges and faculties were done virtually.
Other programmes that have been held online include the matriculation for the current first years.
The congregation ceremony for students of the School of Law and the School of Medicine and Dentistry is expected to be aired live on the university’s social media platforms including Youtube.
The Office of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the university has indicated that it will announce more details of the ceremony soon.
