The 22nd edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards took place last Saturday with Gospel artiste Diana Hamilton picking up the ultimate award.
As with each year, there are a significant number of people who believe another musician other than the person who actually won, deserves the award.
However, it was Diana Hamilton who carried the night with her Artiste of the Year win.
While she and other mainstream celebrities were having their moment in the spotlight, some students were also having their own VGMA moment that they would be proud of.
Two students from the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) also had their moment on the red carpet and even on the VGMA stage with millions watching across the country.
Malcolm Nuna and Jasmine Djang made sure that UPSA also had a great VGMA22 story to tell.
Malcom, who is a nominee from the Unsung category, walked on the red carpet with Lisa who happens to be his bestie, a celebrity dancer and a member of his team member.
He was styled by the famous Biglommoz Couture.
The reigning Queen of the Miss Malaika pageant was once again performing her duty but this time as an award presenter.
Jasmine presented the award for Best Reggae Dancehall Artiste of the Year which was won by Epixode. She was styled by Lakopué with collections from Raguel Deh.
Jasmine and Malcolm have so far been great ambassadors for UPSA. Keep being amazing, guys!
