We were so proud of most of the men who made it to the red carpet of the VGMAs which was held yesterday. They put in the work and it was heavily noticed as compared to last year.
The unofficial theme of the night was embellishments and encrusted/beaded stones as we noticed more people like Kidi, Gyakie, Nana Akua Addo and Mona among others wearing outfits with this theme.
The corset trend which has been around for a while now wasn’t left behind as we saw Berla Mundi’s first outfit, Diana Hamilton’s corset belt and Efya’s performance outfit had the trend on lock.
A personal favorite on the red carpet was Eno Barony. She had always sort of struggled with a good red carpet outfit but this year, she looked amazing in a ball gown in her favorite colour l, red. Her hair was held into a simple ponytail at the back and had a subtle really pretty makeup on.
Another star on yesterday was Kuami Eugene as he put his enemies to shame with his outfit. We saw KiDi on the red carpet but not Kuami Eugene even though we expected him to be at the awards ceremony. When he was called to receive his award as the Best Highlife Artiste of the year, everyone was complementing his outfit.
For some of the men like Medikal and Keche, suits made from either brocade or jacquard fabric was the way to go.
All in all, we loved everything about everyone. See you all next year!
