#VGMA22: A Journey Through 11 Years Of Iconic VGMA Performances By Sarkodie

Sarkodie burst onto the scene more than a decade ago and since then, he has been consistently showing all of us how amazing he is.

He’s got the rap game wrapped around his finger and for more than 12 years, he has been leading the industry with dope hits and beautiful performances.

Sarkodie is a show boy and his mastery on the stage has been witnessed by millions of music lovers from around the world.

In 2010, Sarkodie took over the Ghana Music Awards stage and since then very few artistes have given him a run for his money.

It is not for nothing that he was crowned the artiste of the decade during the 2019 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

It has been years and years of work and growing and perfecting his craft – both in the studio and on the stage.

However, for the purpose of this article, we are zeroing in on his sometimes back to back, year on year to die for performances on the stage of the Ghana Music Awards.

We have put together 8 of Sarkodie’s amazing performances at the award show going back to 2010, which is 11 years ago. Then a newbie just clamoring for the spotlight and an opportunity to show the world what he is capable off.
