At this point, there’s no denying that the MCU has reached iconic status. And of course, we’ve also reached the point where we don’t want to wait whole years between MCU projects. Thankfully, Marvel realized this as well and has created an entire host of TV shows to keep us entertained in between major movies.
These shows are all so good that they make you wish that you had a Disney+ subscription instead of a Netflix. This list will be updated when other shows scheduled to be released later this year come out.
3. The Falcon And the Winter Soldier
The Falcon and the Winter Solider instantly stands out from other shows in the superhero genre. One limitation that is painfully obvious with most superhero shows is that the visual effects are not too good and can make you cringe at times. However, in just the first few minutes of this show’s pilot, you can tell that isn’t going to be the case here.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is also good because the show’s main characters have great chemistry, and we see a very real and relatable side of the MCU; where Sam’s family is struggling financially and the Avenger can’t seem to land a bank loan.
WandaVision has one of the most romantic and emotional storylines in the entire MCU. This time, instead of battling yet another world-threatening crisis, the show focuses on a superhero coming to terms with her own grief. WandaVision is also absolutely hilarious and weird at times (in the best way).
Honestly, Loki has always been one of the more fun characters in the MCU, and getting his own show was only natural considering how charming Tom Hiddleston is in the role. There is a lot of time travel stuff going on in Loki that you’re going to have to wrap your head around, but with the addition of Owen Wilson to the MCU in this series (and the chemistry he has with Hiddleston’s Loki) every second of that is going to be fun.
