The University of Ghana has released its academic calendar for the 2021/2022 academic year.
The new academic calendar was announced via the official Twitter account of the Office of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (ASA) of the university. The Office is headed by Prof Nana Aba Appiah Amfo, who is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of academic work and overseeing the management of student life on campus.

The calendar for the 2021/2022 academic year has been scheduled to ensure that the university moves on from the modular system which it adopted for the 2020/2021 academic year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, to the regular academic schedule.
“The 2021/2022 academic year of the University of Ghana will have 11 weeks for teaching, 1 week for revision, and 2 weeks of examinations. This is to ensure that the University is back to the statutory August – July schedule,” the Twitter post from the Office of the Pro VC read.
