First Year UPSA Students Made To Kneel In Front Of Class Allegedly For Talking

When you are in the Senior High School (SHS) one thing most people are excited about is the fact that they can’t wait to go to the university where there are less restrictive laws.

The seemingly freedom in the university is very appealing to a lot of people.

Also, the fact that university students are treated as adults and the student-lecturer relationship is more open as compared to the student-teacher relationship in high school.

However, a group of first year students at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) had the shock of their lives during a lecture.

Students were reportedly talking while a lecture was ongoing and they were punished.

In that singular act, they were teleported back in time to their SHS.

It is unclear if lecturers at UPSA are allowed to ask students to kneel in front of the class in case they were being disobedient.
