Yesterday was a good day for the conveners of the Fix The Country Movement.

They had dragged the Attorney General and the Police to the Supreme Court after the latter had secured a injunction to ban a planed protest march.

The Supreme Court ruling nullified the injunction placed on the protest.

However, despite the ruling, the police are urging Ghanaians not to join any planned protest march.

In a statement, the police claimed that the court did not stop it from “unlawfully interfering with the constitutional rights of the conveners.”

However, that has not stopped the online onslaught of #FixTheCountry posts.

Since the ruling, the conveners have not released a date for a new protest, however, they are currently raising funds to mount huge #FixTheCountry billboards across town.
