Ghanaian Music Collective Super Jazz Club have released a new video to their latest single “Cameras”.
Super Jazz Club is an alternative music group that blends jazz variations with other music genres such as drill, alte and soul.
The SuperJazzCLub is composed of seven creative geniuses including BiQo, Ansah Live, Seyyoh, Øbed Joey Turks, Oliver North, and Anthony Orleans-Lindsay.
According to DrummrAfrica, this is a project that goes way beyond just music. The multifaceted collective will tap into their love for fashion to develop this campaign. The first single of the year, also titled ‘Cameras’ is the audio aspect of the campaign. It is a fast tempo heavy drum-driven song, meant specifically for the dance floor. The song blends elements of afro music with R&B.
The song, produced by Ansah Live with co-production and engineering by Øbed, features vocal performances from Seyyoh, Tano Jackson and Ansah Live.
‘Cameras’, the song will be promoted with a Fashion Photoshoot, a Themed Music Video, and a 45 page Photo Lookbook, all produced by the collective in collaboration with Ghanaian photographers and filmmakers David N.O Ansah, J.K Wormenor, Prince Cartiee and Julius Tornyi.
The photo lookbook will be filled with fashion ideas seen through the lens of the collective. Stories about the creation of the entire project, which has been in the making for the last four months, will also be shared. Furthermore, A live performance of the song will be released on YouTube to promote the single.
The ‘Cameras’ project is going to pave the way for the SuperJazzclub fashion company ‘La Tete’. The collective launched it back in 2018. For this, they designed T-Shirts, pants and bags which have all sold out.
