About 3 or 4 years ago, everyone was into colour blocking – the exploration of taking colors that are opposites on the color wheel and pairing them together to make interesting and complementary color combinations.
Ghanaians especially loved it so much that they over-did it and when asked about it, they would defend themselves saying it was “colour blocking” when in actual fact, it was just a poor taste in fashion and style manifesting.
We don’t want you making mistakes like that so we bring you 5 very unusual colour combinations that are surprisingly perfect together.
1. Copper and Wine
If you’re looking for the ultimate classy look, this colour combination will get you there.
2. Lavender and Rose
This is the perfect colour combination for a “girly girl” but they do look very good together. For a more tomboyish look, get rose coloured cargo pants and a lavender coloured cropped top and pair the look with boots.
3. Yellow and Green
Yellow and Green are next to each other on the rainbow and colour wheel and so they are not dramatic and very soothing to the eye. Together, yellow and green are vibrant and bright.
4. Cobalt Blue and Turquoise
This colour match that is powerful and bright and oozes both elegance and class. This combination works great with both silver and gold accessories.
5. Pink and Grey
