Award-winning Ghanaian musician and self-proclaimed king of African Dancehall, Shatta Wale is seemingly back to being his shady and mischievous self on social media.
Last month, the maverick musician made an unprecedented announcement – he was taking a break from social media.
Shatta Wale, literally reinvented himself by harnessing the power of social media.
Uncensored in his posts and regular live sessions mostly on Facebook, Shatta Wale would often get into the news based on his social media posts.
He was an avid social media user and it often became his battleground where he picked up and waged beefs with other A-list musicians including Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Samini and others.
With very supportive fans ready to march on his orders, Shatta Wale ruled social media just as he did on the stage and on the radio whenever he drops another of his many songs.
That is why it came as a shock when he announced that he was taking a break from social media for personal reasons, just days after announcing that he would be releasing a new album “Gift of God.”
Now, it seems he is making a come back – on just Instagram.
Shatta Wale deleted all his posts and later posted one creative three times to his 3.2 million followers.
The creative has “HYLYF” written on it. He however, did not give any details of what this is.
Yesterday, musician Jupitar also shared a short video on Twitter featuring Shatta Wale.
The dancehall musician was driving a white Rolls Royce to pick up Jupitar.
