This week, the Electricity Company of Ghana started its scheduled power cuts that would last for two weeks.
Though they are not calling it ‘dumsor’ the effect is the same, people do not have life at home, work and/or school.
On top of that, everyday you go on social media that there is something to make your blood boil.
Someone has been murdered for attending a job interview, a student studying abroad has passed away largely because he didn’t have the stipend he needed to purchase the food he needed, journalists are being reportedly abused by National security, the debate about religion never seems to go away, and all of that happening while young people are saying #FixTheCountry.
It has been particularly difficult for a lot of people and putting their mental health at stake.
However, occasionally as you scroll through the timeline, you come across a number of posts that allows you to let off a smile, and for a minute take a break from it all.

Some of the posts have been coming from an ECG Ghana parody accounts.
The account’s trolling of Ghanaians have been downright funny and quite an escape from everyday serious discussions on Twitter.

With the accounts take on the power situation in the country, it has provided a comedic escape for many online.
We don’t know your current mood now, however, these tweets from the ECG parody would certainly get you smiling…
