KNUST Maintains Application Fee For The First Time In Two Years

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has begun the sale of e-vouchers to its various programmes of study for the 2021/2022 academic year.

For the first time in about two academic years, they have maintained its application fee for Ghanaian applicants.

The University, since the 2018/2019 academic year, has been marginally increasing its application cost.

Ahead of the 2018/2019 academic year, it was selling its forms at GHC180 The cost rose to GHC200 for the 2019/2020 academic year. This amount was increased to GHC220 for applicants who were interested in enrolling in the school for the 2020/2021 academic year.

This year, however, the University has maintained the cost at GHC220 for Ghanaian applicants. The University also maintained its application cost for international applicants.

Since 2018, international applicants pay USD150 as application cost.

KNUST is not the only tertiary institution to maintain its application cost for the 2021/2022 academic year. Applicants to the University of Ghana for the forthcoming academic year can access the e-voucher card needed for the application at a cost of GHC200.

KNUST has set Tuesday, November 30, 2021, as the deadline for the submission of forms. Mature applicants, however, are to submit their forms on or before Sunday, October 31, 2021.
