Protein is the building block for most of your entire body, especially your lean mass. As Ghanaians, we tend to eat more carbs than protein but protein heavily supports muscle growth. Foods high in protein include eggs, meats, fish, nuts, and legumes like beans.

3. Drink high-calorie smoothies or shakes

If you’re having trouble with eating many times during the day, you may want to get shakes that are high in calories. They are often packed with more vitamins and minerals and won’t make you feel bloated. A lot of people like banana smoothies because they are great when it comes to calories. There are around 100 calories in a medium sized banana.

4. Be consistent

You can’t eat well one week and keep forgetting the next week. The weight you want won’t come. You need to try to stay consistent. If you need to set alarms to eat, do it. If you have to prepare the type of food that contains the high amount of calories you want, prepare it. Keep pushing yourself and you’ll get the results you want.
