The announcement was a shock for Sarkodie’s fans especially when Sarkodie had earlier told his fans to get used to not getting new music for at least a year.

When he announced that he would be releasing an album called “No Pressure”, his fans went crazy and started claiming that this album is a GRAMMY award-winning album.

Not long after that, another legendary Ghanaian musician announced that he will be releasing an album.

Self-proclaimed dancehall king, Shatta Wale announced that his new album called “Gift of God” will be released this year.

Though he did not announce the exact date the album will be released, it was confirmed that it would be this year.

And the fans got on the excitement train on Twitter.

Sarkodie and Shatta Wale’s album announcements this week is great for Ghanaian music lovers both at home and abroad.

It somehow also shows that the mainstream musicians are bouncing back with projects after slowing down a little bit during the COVID-19 pandemic.

As fans, we love it and we are here for all of it.
