
There is an uproar on social media today, after a judge handed out her sentence in Akuapem Poloo’s “nudity” case.
The actress and social media personality pled guilty to three charges that were brought against her by the state after posting a photo claimed to be a nude alongside her 8-year-old son.
She was charged for the publication of obscene materials, engaging in domestic violence namely conduct that in any way undermines another person’s privacy or integrity and engaging in domestic violence namely conduct that in any way detracts or is likely to detract from another person’s dignity and worth as a human being.
After her conviction based on her own guilty plea two days ago, the judge sentenced her to serve 90 days (three months) in prison.

Ghanaian’s were not happy with the sentence and they have expressed their displeasure on social media.
Hours after her sentencing, Akuapem Poloo took to social media to thank her fans and other celebrities who have been supportive of her through this ordeal.
She thanked Sarkodie, Reggie Rockstone, Stonebwoy, Bridget Otoo and others for their support.
“I know it’s a test I have to go through. I am strong. You guys know. Your girl will be back,” she said.
Her celebrity friends left supportive messages in the comments section under the video.



Akuapem Poloo’s lawyer, Andrew Vortia has said he will appeal the sentence handed out to her.
