Button-down shirts can be very boring but they may be the most items in your closet because of work. You can switch your look up right from the office and we don’t mean just switching skirts for jeans but different ways to button, tie and style these shirts differently.
1. Wear it UNDER your dress
You just need to make sure the colours of the shirt and dress complement each other. Elevate your basic shirts by layering a satin slip dress on top of it. Finish off your look with a pair of crisp white sneakers or heels and you’re good to go.
2. Just button the first three buttons
Pair these conservative shirts with something as contrasting as cargo pants or denim jeans. Add accessories like chain necklaces, shades and heels and call it a day.
Unbutton the first 3 or 4 buttons and slide the shirt off your shoulders to give you the off shoulder vibe. Tuck the front of the shirt inside your pants leaving the back.
4. Crop Top
Wear the shirt and tie it under your boobs. You can roll up the sleeves up to your elbow or leave it be. If it exposes your boobs too much, you can button some of it.
5. Wear it alone
This works for oversized shirts. You can wear jeans shorts underneath it. Wear the shirt and add accessories to it; shades, bags, heels/sneakers.
