Two Artists, One Album: Here Are Joint Albums Or Eps The Industry Needs Now

Sarkodie and Kwesi Arthur

Nothing gets a music fan more excited than two of their favorite Artists team up together to release a new project. We hardly have had two artists coming together to produce a joint Album or project. This is also because the mixing of two distinctive styles and sound can be tricky, the resulting product can be one that is properly harmonious if done correctly.

Over the years we’ve had a lot of Artist give us the best of music content by collaborating together to give fans what they expect.

E.L and Ayisi (A.I) gave fans a full album “The Linkop” in 2019, satisfying the music thirst fans have been craving for. Even though fans were expecting E.L to rap more on the Album he switched it up and gave fans the commercial vibe which also worked perfectly. Sarkodie and Jayso dropped their joint project “The Mind Game” in 2013, for those who don’t remember this project, the famous “Pizza and Burger” song was off this Album. It has been since the joint Album dropped and these songs are still club bangers.

These joint Albums are evident that Joint Albums really work in this side of our industry and Artist should leverage on this opportunity and give fans what they want.

We always seem to have some particular artists come together collaborate on a single and anytime this particular single is released, it’s straight flames. Fans get excited and they can’t seem to enough of the single. Now imagine your favorite artist teaming up with another favorite artist and dropping a whole Album Or Ep. Yes!! Amazing right?

After going through a list of artists and their respective collaborations, I decided to team up some artists together and why we deserve a joint Album or Ep from them.

Kidi and Adina

They know in their hearts of heart they need to give us a joint Album. KiDi and Adina keep mesmerising us with beautiful and melodic love songs with every collaboration they drop. From Timeless love where you may hear Adina and Kidi speaking Spanish – the language of love and passion in the RnB tune to RunAway off Adina’s “Araba” album. One Man another reason why the two artist need to give fans a joint Ep. If you have ever seen Kidi and Adina perform together you will attest to the chemistry these two artist have on stage.

Joey B and Sarkodie

Bra Mike as Joey B calls Sarkodie, their relationship is that of a sibling’s affair where Sarkodie is the big brother. Joey B and Sarkodie’s relationship goes way back. Just after dropping “Tonga” which quickly took over the media space, Sarkodie and Joey have since dropped hits and bangers back to back. In no chronological order, they have dropped, Cold, Legend, La Familia, New Lords, Baby Mama, 2 Paddies the list goes on. Fans really are in high anticipation for the joint albums for these two artists. With both being Rap artists with distinctive Rap styles their joint project will be a success, their collaborations are a testimony of this.

M.anifest and Worlasi

It’s a banger!!! Anytime you hear a song from M.anifest featuring Worlasi it is 100 percent straight hit. M.anifest is known for helping upcoming artist from B4Bonah to helping Worlasi. Their relationship goes beyond just music. The Support they give each other is amazing from showing up at each others concerts to perform their hit songs to participating in viral challenges together as seen in the “Nofearfreestyle”. M.anifest and Worlasi have three songs out, hit single 100%, Hand dey go Hand dey come and Okay!. Now imagine having M.anifest and Worlasi dropping a whole album just for the love of their fans and for the Culture.

Medikal and Joey B

Joey B and Medikals friendship is one that is envied by alot. When these two come together to create magic, it is indeed going to become a hit. After Collaborating on Joey B’s 911, Medikal and Joey B’s combo is a very tough one to deny. All their collaborations are a testimony of what they will do if they should drop the a joint Album or Ep. Medikal and Joey B’s collaborations over the year include, Drip, Green Tea, La Hustle and Akobam.

Kwesi Arthur And Sarkodie

Anytime Sarkodie and Kwesi Arthur are on a song together is always a club banger. Sarkodie and Kwesi Arthurs relationship started when Kwesi Arthur rapped his heart out when he had the chance to meet Sarkodie, Kwesi Arthur later featured Sarkodie on his hit single “Grind Day” just after that Sarkodie called Kwesi Arthur including other budding upcoming Rappers on his “Biibi Ba” project. Kwesi Arthur and Sarkodie since then have worked on different projects including, Kill My Spirit, Who da Man, Jehovah and Joey B’s La Familia.
