Most of us take the ability to hear, speak and see for granted.
However, for others, those are a luxury and some would do anything medically possible to regain their ability to either speak, hear, or see.
Baby Kay, is one of those who are fighting to be able to hear.
The four-year-old has been diagnosed with congenital bilateral profound sensorineural hearing loss and doctors have recommended that Kay undergoes a surgery to be fitted with a cochlear implant.
The cost of the device, surgery and post-surgery tuning is USD 40,000, an amount his parents cannot raise.
According to doctors, Kay’s recommended surgery is best performed when the child is between 1 and half and five years old.
With Kay turning 5 this July, time is literally running out for Kay to have his surgery within a medically recommend age window.
That is why his folks are asking for your help with this Go Fund Me campaign and an alternative to donate to +233249470050 via Mobile Money.
Baby Kay is on a clock here and until the money is raised, nobody will be looking out for his 5th birthday, which is the saddest thing for a baby.
