Although it’s a holiday, some of us still have to put in time behind our books because it’s still very much exam season. However, studying when it’s a holiday outside can be very discouraging. And it helps to know these 4 tips.
Follow A Schedule
It can be counterproductive to try and glue yourself to your desk on a holiday. You’re going to end up distracted by what everyone else is up to and you might be ineffective. So instead, set a schedule and make sure that there is some set aside for whatever your kind of fun there is.
Study With Friends
Studying with your friends means that you can bounce ideas back and forth between each other. At the same time you would be around people who are going through the same thing as you (who know how much it sucks to be studying over the holidays).
It’s still a national holiday, so other people might not want to spend their day behind a book. In that case, you might find yourself in a noisy situation. Just switch locations and find a place where you can focus.
Take Some Time Away From Your Books
It’s fine to be studying today, but you should keep in mind that it’s still a holiday and you deserve a break too. Give yourself some downtime and celebrate Ghana’s 64th.
