If you’re on the Legon campus, here are some really fun things to do (that won’t break the bank), that you might not know about. They’re the perks that you can only enjoy while you’re a student.

Going Swimming

You might already know that access to the Legon pool is really cheap when you have a UG ID card. It’s not even up to 5 cedis, so if you’ve wanted to learn how to swim or already know how, whenever you don’t have class is a good time to go take a dip.

Seeing A Play

How many times have you seen a play. Yes, I know … a single play at the National Theatre can pay for a couple of months of Netflix at least. When you’re on campus though, you have a unique opportunity. The Theatre department puts on plays that you can see for quite cheap (about 20 cedis).

Finally Hitting The Gym

Okay, so I guess in this case fun might be relative. But here’s the thing, going to the gym is really inexpensive when you’re on campus and the place is always open.

Time Out

Time Out is a restaurant chain that you can find on campus. There is a branch at Block B of new Pent, and a second at the top floor of Elizabeth Sey. Other than the food, they have games that you can go play if you’re close enough. Time Out has a pool table and a console for FIFA.
