The award-winning Ghanaian musician, Adina Thembi has a lot to be thankful for.
Two weeks ago, the musician underwent a life saving surgery.
She has revealed that she was admitted to the Tema Women Hospital for a surgery to remove fibroid.
Adina thanked the medical staff who treated her and for “making the process more relaxed than i thought it would be.”
She said she was “grateful for a successful procedure and an ongoing smooth road to recovery.”
Adina shared the news with a video of her in the theatre including when the surgeons had actually started the procedure.
Fibroids are non-cancerous growths that develop in or around the womb (uterus). The growths are made up of muscle and fibrous tissue, and vary in size. Many women are unaware they have fibroids because they do not have any symptoms.
Speedy recovery to Adina.
