Chadwick Boseman has recently made history. The actor has been recognized by the Screen Actors Guild Awards with nominations in four different categories.

The Black Panther actor, who passed away from colon cancer last August, earned the nomination for ‘Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role.’ In addition to that, he also got nominated for the ‘Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role’ award due to his movies Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and Da 5 Bloods.

The final two nominations are for ‘Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture,’ and since Chadwick was a part of the cast for both movies that brings the total possible award count to 4.

Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and Da 5 Bloods are both available to stream now on Netflix.
