Brentford winger Tariqe Fosu has been nominated for the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month Award for January.
He gained the nomination for his fine form in the first month of 2021 where he scored two goals to help his team go unbeaten in January in the Sky Bet Championship.
Tariqe netted in the 1-1 draw away from home at Swansea and then added another against Wycombe Wanderers.
The 25-year-old was born in Wandsworth, England. A product of the Reading academy, he rose to prominence at Charlton Athletic and Oxford United, before transferring to Brentford in January 2020.
He represented England at U18 level and made his senior international debut for Ghana in October 2020.
Fosu made his first appearances for the Black Stars with starts in friendlies against Mali and Qatar, and he scored his first international goal against the latter, with the opener in a 5–1 victory.
