Netflix Movie Jingle Jangle Has Received A Record-Breaking 10 Nominations At NAACP Image Awards

The NAACP Image Awards is keeping the Christmas celebration going into 2021 as Netflix holiday movie Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey earned 10 nominations on Tuesday, the most of any film.

This is huge for Ghanaians as Bisa K’dei’s song “Grandpa Me Nie” was featured on the soundtrack of the Netflix’s Christmas movie, “Jingle Jangle.”

Jingle Jangle is up for best soundtrack and best actor (Forest Whitaker), actress (Madalen Mills), supporting actress (Anika Noni Rose and Phylicia Rashad), breakthrough performance (Madalen Mills), ensemble cast, writing and directing in a motion picture.

Jingle Jangle Synopsis:

An imaginary world comes to life in a holiday tale of an eccentric toymaker, his adventurous granddaughter, and a magical invention that has the power to change their lives forever.—Netflix
