Frank Lampard Breaks Silence After Chelsea Sacking

Frank Lampard has issued a statement since he was sacked as Head Coach of Chelsea Football Club.

He was sacked on Monday, January 25, 2021, after he led the team to beat Luton Town 3-1 in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Sunday. He was Head Coach of the club for 18 months.

The Stamford Bridge legend indicated that he is disappointed not to have had the time to take the club forward.

Here’s what Lampard said, on Instagram, after his sacking:

Lampard is reportedly set to be replaced by former Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain boss, Thomas Tuchel.
