Award-winning Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson is using her platform to help promote the acceptance of the COVID-19 vaccine even before they arrive in the country.
There are a number of Ghanaians who have bought into vaccine conspiracies and have decided not to take the COVID-19 vaccine when it is made available in the country.
However, a recent Tweet from an influential person such as Lydia Forson could help convince others to take the vaccine when it is available.
Lydia, who has been using her platform to create awareness on various COVID-19 related issues, took to Twitter to share how she couldn’t wait to take the vaccine.
“When the vaccine comes eh, I will stand in line and offer my neck!!! like inject anywhere na I’m tired!,” she said which reechoed the desperation of some other Ghanaians who just can’t wait to get back to life that even remotely feels like those days before COVID-19 struck.
Though some have all kinds of unfounded theories about the vaccine, many world leaders and high-profile elderly people in the west, including Bill Gates, Kamala Harris, Queen Elizabeth II, and others have taken the vaccine.
