Currently, people traveling to Kotoka International Airport from London on British Airways will have to board their flights from Gatwick Airport.

The airline made the decision to move boarding away from Heathrow to Gatwick a couple of weeks ago.

The Government protested this decision and insisted the BA authorities for a meeting over the issue.

However, after the BA team agreed to provide the government with more information on their decision, they have not followed through with their promise.

In a statement from the Ministry of Aviation, the government rejected “the changes” or airports.

The government said it is engaging BA to rescind its decision and move boarding of Accra bound flights to back to Heathrow Airport.

The government considers BA’s actions a sign of disrespect to travelers to Kotoka.
