Apple Is Reportedly Redesigning The iMac

Apple is reportedly looking to give its iMac a complete makeover.

According to reports, the tech giant is hoping to revamp its flagship all-in-one computer, bringing it closer to its own Pro Display XDR by thinning down the top and side display bezels, reducing the thick bottom frame, and changing up the curved rear surface to a flat back instead. Internally, the new models will also replace its previous Intel processors with Apple’s very own next-gen ARM-based processors.

Aside from redesigned iMac models, the report also suggests that a new monitor is on its way, along with two fresh Mac Pro options. The former will be a more affordable alternative to the existing Pro Display XDR, though with slightly less image quality, while the latter two will consist of an upgraded version of the current Mac Pro with Intel’s latest CPU and a whole new aluminum-bound model powered by Apple Silicon with a design reminiscent of the Power Mac G4 Cube.

Of course, as usual, Apple has yet to announce anything official for the iMac, Mac Pro and the new monitor, so those interested should stay tuned for more updates to come.
