The past couple of days have been very monumental in BullDog’s life.
He was picked up by officers of the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) for certain comments he passed about President Akufo-Addo.
He spent a number of days in prison and he was then arraigned on charges of “offensive conduct, conducive to breaches of the peace.”
He was released by an Accra Circuit Court Judge on a GHS 70K bail last Wednesday.
Since then he has taken to social media to thank former President John Mahama and his brother Ibrahim Mahama for supporting him.
“Innumerable thanks to my big brothers His Excellency John Dramani Mahama and Ibrahim Mahama. Your Excellency, the consolatory call and wise counsel was humbling! God bless you sir,” he wrote.
He also thanked the NDC, and UTV whose platform Bulldog was said to have made the comments about the President that landed him in custody.
He thanked his wife and the NIB and Police officers before sending encouraging words to his fellow inmates.
“To the inmates I spent time within the roughest and toughest cell in Ghana (striking force), I say be strong and God keep you safe,” he said.
On the terms of his bail, BullDog is expected to present himself to the police every Monday.
His case was adjourned to January 28.
