The “Buss It Challenge” led by black women has given everyone a reason to be online. The now viral challenge shows many users showing off transformations from clothes of comfort to all glammed up gorgeous attire, ones that will be worn on dates.

Erica banks is an American rapper from Desoto, Texas. She was working with the 1501 entertainment before signing with warner records in January 2021.

Her single “Buss it,” recorded in December 2019 and released with a video on June 8,2020, is now popular on tiktok and all social media platforms. “Buss It” sampled Nelly’s “hot in herre.” In August 2020, “Buss It” charted 38 on r&b/hip-hop airplay.

Last year attention was drawn to Erica Banks where she was being compared to former 1501 entertainment rapper Megan Thee Stallion. Erica Banks had just been introduced to the rap game but was soon compared to Megan Thee Stallion because fans felt her mannerism and sounds was similar to that of Megan Thee Stallion. Not long after the controversy, Erica Banks released “Buss It” which did not go viral until this year.
