Sex and the City will be officially returning. The hit HBO series that ran from 1998 to 2004 will be bringing back three of its original cast members for a new 10-episode reboot.
Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis will reprise their former roles, while Kim Cattrall, who has been vocal about her disinterest in a reboot, will not be joining the three. The new name for the upcoming Sex and the City revival is being billed as And Just Like That… and will be airing on HBO Max. According to HBO Max, the new show will follow “Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.” One of the franchise’s original producers, Michael Patrick King, will also be returning as an executive producer, and production for the series is set to begin in late spring, taking place, of course, in New York City.
