The Ministry of Information has announced that President Akufo-Addo will be addressing the country tonight.
The address at 8pm will be his last in his first term of office ahead of his swearing-in this Thursday to start his second term.
In his last address, just before the Christmas holidays the President amongst other things indicated that Ghana will get its share of the COVID-19 vaccine.
When he said clubs and beaches remained closed, many called him out for being out of touch as clubs and beaches were fully operational.
During his address tonight, many will be expecting a more detailed plan on the acquisition and distribution of COVID-19 vaccine as well as possible actions taken to protect the country from the more infectious variance of coronavirus found in the UK and South Africa.
Ghana currently has 905 active cases with 335 people dying from COVID-19 complications in Ghana.
